Crystal's Sweet & Sour Kale Chips
I N G R E D I E N T S
1 1/4 c raw cashews*
1/3 c sesame seeds*
2 Tbl dijon mustard*
3/4 c raw honey*
1/3 c chia seeds*
1/4 c raw apple cider vinegar*
1 Tbl chopped ginger*
1 Tbl chopped garlic*
1 Tbl tamari (soy sauce)*
2 Tbl raw maca powder*
3/4 c green tea oil*
(or avocado or extra virgin olive oil)
1 c nutritional yeast*
2 Tbl raw hemp seeds*
1/4 c water to help blend
1 tsp cayenne pepper* (optional)
1/2 tsp pink Himalayan salt*
1/2 tsp ground black pepper*
Juice from ½ a lemon*
1 large bunch of kale*

I N S T R U C T I O N S
1. In a large bowl, combine nutritional yeast and honey.
2. Place the rest of the ingredients except the water in a blender
and blend until smooth. Add the water as needed to create a paste.
3. Scrape contents of the blender into the bowl with the honey
and nutritional yeast. Mixture will thicken as honey and
nutritional yeast are incorporated.
4. Wash kale three times and dry thoroughly. Remove stems.
5. Take kale leaves and liberally glaze mixture over them,
making sure to reach the edges. (Mixture will be thick) Place kale leaves on food dehydrator trays.
6. Set food dehydrator at 100 degrees (to maintain raw nutrients) and let dry until desired crispness is reached.
Leftover mixture makes a great dip for veggies and salads!
